Copyright Creativity

Copyright Creativity is a guide to the United States copyright application process with a multimedia slideshow, explanations, and actual statutes. Copyright registration is not expensive or difficult. The developer, Michael E. Byczek, is a licensed Illinois attorney and Apple certified system administrator. His primary interest is intellectual property (patent, trademark, and copyright). It only costs $35 to submit an application to the U.S. Copyright Office. Registration is not required, but the primary benefit is federal protection against infringement. Statutes are current as of 9/27/2010 based upon The Office of the Law Revision Counsel (LRC) classification tables. The federal rules are current as of 9/30/2010 (GPO e-CFR). Fees are current as of 12/5/2010.
